My Permits is a simplified version of the Planning and Development's online Inspection Scheduling System, designed specifically for mobile devices such as smartphones. You should be able to use the My Permits site from any device which has a modern web browser (iPhone, Android, Blackberry). My Permits apps for iPhone and Android are in development and will be available soon, but you don't need to install an app to access the mobile site.
This part is the same whether you're accessing the mobile site or the regular web site. You use the same account for both.
Otherwise, click the New Permit button.
Enter the permit number in the form and click Schedule. We'll keep track of which permits you've added, so you only have to do this once. The permit should appear in your permit list next time you return to that screen.
It's that easy. We'll send you email confirmations of which inspections have been scheduled on which dates. If you have any scheduled inspections for which there's still time to cancel online, the Cancel Inspections button will be active. To reschedule an inspection, just cancel it, then schedule it for another date.
To schedule additional inspections on the same permit, click the Scedule Inspections button.
To return to your list of permits at any time, press the Home icon in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
To logout at any time, press the eXit icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
