level 3 deck reviewed. j.3-L @11.5-13 approx, 12-18 @ D-K approx. observed several issues that were corrected immediately prior to concrete placement while I was on site, observed that some stud rails were missing at line 12.1 @ J.5 in level 3 deck. contractor was looking for the correct stud rails and will install the proper ones. If they cannot locate the correct ones they may have to substitute them for another and will likely need engineer approval. The special inspector will verify this and document the process.

Footings lines 1-3.2 @ A-E reviewed. Unable to locate special inspector while concrete placement was underway. Reinforcing steel had a few deficiencies including missing rebar, clearance from rebar to grade. These issues were corrected while I was onsite. The ATS anchors in the footings were 1 1/8" instead of the plan specified 1 1/4". The contractor is attempting to find the correct anchors so they can be corrected. Pictures will be taken of the correct anchors once installed. The general contractor was informed that the special inspector needs to be doing continuous special instection for concrete placement as specified on sheet S0.05.

Several units (112,116,117,127,129,135 and possibly others) have signs of water intrusion at bottom of exterior walls. Steps need to be taken to mitigate water intrusion before proceeding. OSSC 2303.2.8 prohibits closing in walls with frt wood without meeting moisture content requirements. Manufacture specs for insulation and drywall will also prohibit installation of wet materials or closing in wet wall spaces. A representative amount of areas will need to have gyp removed and wood moisture tested. Any wet/damaged materials need to be removed and replaced as necessary. This applies to any similar areas/conditions in the building.

Please also note that there are DWV cleanouts in unit separation walls that will need some type of rated cover or other means to maintain required fire resistive ratings in these areas. Previously noted issues at construction joints between parking garage and corridor as well as at podium turn down remain unresolved.
